We have just passedthrough the porcelain era, and many ofthe leading journals have been devotinga large amount of space to porcelain. Wenow have another outburst of enthusiasmon inlays, but this time the enthusiasmis for the gold instead of the porcelain in-lay. After the gold inlay has run itscourse we shall be so familiar with theinlay principle of filling teeth that noprogressive dentist should plead igno-rance of the subject.
