Summary edit

Description
English: The Dry Bridge at Poulaphouca This bridge spans a shallow valley which was the route the Liffey took at some time in the very distant past before switching to (and creating) the adjacent gorge. You could say that in the 1940's the river's route was changed again as it now usually flows through the hydroelectric station rather than either valley or gorge.
