GARDENING FOR THE MONTH. In the kitchen garden in the beginning andend of the month sow peas and beans, andtransplant to the bottom of a south wall afew of the peas sown in November for afirst crop. Plant chives, shallots, and horse-radish, and early ash-leaved potatoes. Inthe last week sow red cabbages and savoys.Plant strawberries about the end of this month.
