| Description |
English: The Great Barn, Wanborough, Surrey. An old, black weatherboarded tithe barn, originally vertical wooden walling, and occasionally open to the public. It dates from 1388 and built by Cistercian monks from nearby Waverley Abbey to hold the harvest in the Manor of Wanborough. The barn is made with huge oak timbers and has been extended twice - 1705 and late 18th or early 19th century. |
