Summary edit

Description
English: The Harbour front at Tobermory. Tobermory must be the most colourful place on the west coast of Scotland and the best way to see it is to arrive on the ferry from Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. From www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk: "Tobermory owes its origins to the British Fisheries Society and their search for likely sites for fishing communities in western Scotland in the 1700s. The Society's agent, John Knox, visited Mull in 1786 and proposed making use of the superb natural harbour then called Ledaig (or Safe Harbour) for such a community." Now it has not only had a Womble named after it but it was also used as the location for the BBC children's tv series Balamory.
