English: The Hillsborough bypass The Hillsborough bypass, on the Belfast Dublin road, opened in 1974. Traffic was much lighter 33 years ago and there was no need to prohibit right and U turns. Circumstances have changed. Work should start, later this year, on a new flyover here. There are long-term plans to close the gaps in the central reservation. The view is towards Belfast. |
