English: The IJ (Het IJ) is a body of water, formerly a bay, in Amsterdam, North Holland. The Inner IJ is between the North Sea Canal and to the west of the Oranje Locks (Oranjesluizen). The Outer IJ is to the east of the Oranje Locks, and an extension of the IJmeer which is itself an extension of the Markermeer.
This satellite photo is captured by the Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission. The satellite photo contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data (2020), processed by ESA. |
