Description Photographer Jim Noetzel has captured all of the vibrancy and infectious energy of one of the largest neighborhood Mardi Gras parades in Louisiana, Shreveport's annual Krewe of Highland Parade. The afternoon parade rolls each year on the Sunday following the Krewe of Gemini Parade. Family fun, costumes, food and unusual throws abound at this highly-anticipated celebration. The 2013 parade consisted of over 100 festively-decorated floats, brass bands, second lines, and vintage automobiles.
