Description

The Kutafya Tower on this side of the bridge and the Troitskaya Tower, forming a part of the Kremlin wall, on the other side.

The Troitskaya Tower, built in 1495, is remarkably similar to the Spasskaya Tower and almost rivals that tower in imporance. Including the red star, added in 1937, the tower is a total of 80 meters high and thus the tallest of all the Kremlin towers.

Today Troitskaya Tower is the main entrance for tour groups visiting the Kremlin. But it was our exit.
