Summary edit

Description
English: The picture shows a glimpse of the ice world of the Himalayas in the midst of which is the beautiful native State of Kashmir, a favourite summer resort with the European residents of India. These hills of perpetual snow entirely surround the rich green pastures and rice fields of Kashmir and caused the ancients to give the name of the " Emerald set with Pearls. "
