A shallow depression in a grassy lawn, next to a brick house, marks where a second house once stood.

Devils Island Light Station landscape. The shallow depression marks where the wood frame Assistant Keeper's Quarters once stood. It was demolished in 1956; the second Assistant Keeper's Quarters still stands.
