DescriptionThe Mansion House - geograph.org.uk - 611845.jpg |
English: The Mansion House This prominent building in Prospect Park, the largest open space in Reading, is a grade 2 listed building, now a restaurant. It was built about 1800 by John Liebenrood (the adjacent road being named after him) and the surrounding parkland was established in 1877. The park was bought by the Council in 1901 "for the benefit of its weary workers".
