English: he Molli Bahn, near Rostock, Germany is a 900mm gauge steam operated line in the former East Germany, running from Bad Doberan, where it connects with standard gauge DB trains, to the picturesque Baltic spa town of Kuhlungsborn. There is extensive on-street running through bad Doberan and at Kuhlungsborn-Ost. The line is worked by 2-6-2T engines built in 1951 by Karl Max Locofabrik near Berlin. The Summer timetable boasts 11 trains each way per day with two locos in steam at all times. |
