| Description |
English: Taken from Millfields South. The scene has change significantly in 18 months. The London Plane trees remain. Initially this site had been considered for relocation of travellers from within the 2012 Olympics site. Instead the former Hackney Council depot in Millfields Road was chosen. Instead 132 residential units plus office space is to be built , including incorporation of several of the historical buildings of the site. 6 three and five storey blocks (plus penthouse storey) will appear here. A proposed 8-storey block was deemed inappropriate for the location and was scaled down.
