Summary edit

Description
English: The Old Pound Pounds were built to house stray animals,(sheep, goats, cows etc.), until their owner came to collect them. In many parts of the country, they were under manorial control, which normally imposed a fine on the animal's owner when they came to collect their impounded livestock.
