COMMENCEMENT AT BROWNDRAWS PROVIDENCE TAUS In celebration of Browns 189th commence-ment and the first year of Dr. Wriston, thenew president, many classes held reunions. Commencement week-end w^as crowdedwith dances, alumni meetings, dinners, andsocials. It was a gala event for the gradswho found themselves busy shaking handsand talking over old times. Many foundtime to break away from their classes andreturn to their fraternities, especially at theA T 0 house. Schweikart. GENERAL BULLARD SPEAKSAT NEW YORK BANQUET The New York City alumni associationstaged the finest dinner within the memoryof even the oldest among those present, onMarch 31 at the Prince George Hotel. Atotal of 210 Alpha Taus v/ere present andthe spirit was exceptionally fine. The man-agement of H. M. Robinson, Vermont, andRussell Pansie, Drake, contributed largelyto the success of the dinner. John Hannon of St. Lawrence acted astoastmaster. The chief speaker of the evening was Gen,Robert E. L. Bullard, who made a rattlinggood speech and was received with greatacclaim by all.
