| Description |
English: The Queen's Bridge, Belfast (detail). The Queen's Bridge, designed by Lanyon, replaced the old Long Bridge in 1843. It was widened in 1885/86 with Bretland as the engineer. The lamp posts on the bridge are all similar to this specimen. After many years of pollution fish have re-appeared and seals can be seen on the seaward side of the weir. See also 1530658. |
