A Provins rose is placedon the left side of the bust, and asatin corkscrew trimming in the formof a stomacher regulates the fulnessof the corsage, which is longitudinal.The skirt is ornamented with tworows of festoons, edged with threenarrow pipings of cherry-colouredsatin, the centre of the upper festoonbeing attached to the points of thelower by a full-blown Provins rose,suspended by a narrow white satincorkscrew trimming; in the lowerfestoon the roses are attached to thebroad white satin rouleau at the bot-tom of the dress; a bouquet ofProvins roses and Eastern hyacinthsis placed at the termination of eachfestoon of the upper row.
