Summary edit

Description

TH117 "Girl Rona" makes a triumphant return to the fishing quay in Teignmouth after her rebuild and refit. This fine fishing vessel was almost wrecked when she went aground on a sandbank and was turned turtle. She was a week or more at the mercy of the elements before she could be righted and towed into Teignmouth. Having been away for repairs, her crew hope to have her fully fitted out and back working at sea by mid August. The "Girl Rona" is well loved by the folk of Teignmouth and as familiar as seagulls when moored off the back beach. 20 July 2012.
