Description
English: The River Bann at Portadown (1) By the time the Bann has reached Portadown it has merged with the now disused Newry canal and is navigable to Lough Neagh. This is the river (looking upstream), in the centre of Portadown, in an area known as the “Pool”. The remains of the riverside warehouses can be seen at top left. The river in the foreground has stands for anglers.
