| Description |
English: The River Tywi north of Llyn Brianne A particularly attractive walk (or ride!) can be had northwards along this valley, towards Strata Florida. The farm buildings at Nant y stalwyn are in the distant trees on the right. The route starts three hundred metres along the road to the south of the bridge, from where this photograph was obtained.
The grass debris on the lower branches of the tree indicate that recent flood waters were a metre or more higher than today's flow. The land to the west (left) of the river here is in Ceredigion, not Powys. |
