| Description |
English: The Seed This rather wonderful sculpture is entitled "The Seed" and is to be found at the core of "The Core" - the exhibition centre at the Eden Project. Four metres high and weighing in at 70 tonnes it is one of the biggest sculptures ever made from a single piece of rock. It has been carved from 300 million-year-old Cornish granite by the artist Peter Randall-Page and features over its surface an intricate pattern of bumps inspired by the head of a sunflower. |
