Summary edit

Description
English: The Severn Road Bridge between England and Wales. The great suspension bridge that used to carry the M4 motorway from London and Bristol to South Wales.

Here the River Wye joins the Severn. Since the opening of the Second Severn Crossing (a few miles downstream) the M4 has taken the new route. The M48 now uses the suspension bridge.

Taken from an aeroplane somewhere above Chepstow.
