English: The Sirdar's advance on Fashoda, Egyptian Gunboats proceeding up the Nile.

After the taking of Omdurman the Sirdar went forward towards Fasoda. The 10th, 11th, and 13th Soudanese and the Cameron Highlanders were embarked for the same place in the gunboats Sultan and Sheikh', while the Sirdar and his staff went on board the steamer Dahl.
