Description
English: The Stables, Studley Royal Park — a landscape garden park in North Yorkshire.
  • Impressive building, low and squat. Built c.1716-20 for John Aislabie with a mix of styles, including Palladian.
  • The high square turrets in the newer Burlingtonian fashion with the open arcade and square pillars with rusticated quoins are more Vanbrughian.
