| Description |
English: The Sydenham bypass, Belfast (1982). See 400295 and 401860. The Sydenham bypass looking towards the city centre. The changes in the intervening 25 years include: the relaying of the railway, the replacement of a palisade railway fence by a concrete wall, different street lights and the demolition of the gasholder (above the second lamppost). At the time the Harbour Airport had recently opened and the right turn had still to receive traffic lights. The terminal has been re-sited. |
