English: The Taj-Mahal from the south-east, Agra.

The present watercolour was once part of an important album sold at auction in 1974. The album was entitled 'VIEWS BY SEETA RAM FROM SECUNDRA TO AGRA, vol. IX' and watermarks on some of the sheets suggested a date of circa 1810-15. There is another similar watercolour of the Taj Mahal in morning light by the same artist.
