Summary edit

Description
English: The Tower House, Bangor The Tower House was built as the Custom House, in 1637, by Lord Clanneboy (Clandeboye) – interestingly with the assistance of a Government grant of £300! In later years it became the harbourmaster’s house and then an artist’s studio. It is now the tourist office. It faces Quay Street (right) and the harbour.
