Title
The Town Crier, v.12, no.27, Jul. 7, 1917
Description

Page 1 illustration features Seattle Athletic Club's new location at 3rd Ave. and Jefferson St. Page 3 features portrait of Minna P. Parks, Secretary of the Fine Arts Society by Roy Partridge. Page 7 article profiles Mrs. Parks. Page 4 article "Industrial Dangers" discusses the I.W.W.

The building is on the downhill (west) side of Third, so we'd be looking north at Jefferson, where the Arctic Club and Seward Hotel was built in 1909, and is now the Morrison Hotel. The Arctic Club moved to the new Arctic Building c. 1916-1917. The Seattle Athletic Club moved around this time: its 1904 building at the southwest corner of Fourth & Cherry became the Soldiers and Sailors Club in 1917.
