| Description |
English: The Vale of Belvoir. This is the farmland below Belvoir Castle. The woodland to the left is Church Thorns and the farmland to the right is known as West Wong. Straight ahead the Vale is open to the East Coast and susceptible to sea mists especially in the autumn. This photograph was taken about 1.30 pm and the sun was trying hard to disperse the mist that had been hanging around all morning. A couple of hours later and the battle had been lost; gloom descended once more. See 604035 which was taken about 50 metres further up the hill half an hour earlier. |
