Summary edit

Description
English: The Wolds Way(s), near North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The direct route for the Wolds Way passes along the Humber shoreline. At high tide, the route is under water and minor diversions into private land are distinctly unwelcome. So a major diversion around the (large) village of North Ferriby is called for, as even promising short cuts on routes near the railway lead to dead ends. The signpost therefore has three arms, all of which indicate the Wolds Way.
