Summary edit

Description
English: The Woods End Tavern Situated by a bend on the south bank of the River Yare, on a narrow country lane which carries a section of the Wherryman's Way long distance footpath, the pub's name is mentioned as having been 'Woods Inn' in 1836. Part of the frontage dates from 1885 but other parts of the building are older. In Victorian times it used to be a favourite inn and tearoom. The pub closed in April 2010.
  • June 2010 - The pub recently re-opened under new ownership.
