Français : Bataille d'Armentières, reconstruction (ou construction d'un pont provisoire) par les Allemands du pont sur la Lys, entre Nieppe et Armentières. Ce pont fut détruit par les anglais, le 9 avril 1918. Les alliées étant en effet présent sur le secteur du 16 octobre 1914 au 11 avril 1918, date à laquelle la 34e Division d'infanterie fut chassée par les troupes allemandes après de durs combats. Le pont avait été préalablement miné par la troisième Compagnie Australiennes des Tunneliers (février 1918). Deutsch: Schlacht von Armentières, Wiederaufbau (oder Bau einer provisorischen Brücke) durch die Deutschen einer Brücke über die "Leie", zwischen Nieppe und Armentières. Diese Brücke wurde am 9. April 1918 von den Briten zerstört. Britische Streitkräfte waren in der Tat vom 16. Oktober 1914 bis zum 11. April 1918 in diesem Sektor präsent, als die 34. Infanteriedivision nach schweren Kämpfen von deutschen Truppen vertrieben wurde. Die Brücke wurde von April bis Oktober 1918 von deutschen Ingenieuren wiederhergestellt und im Oktober während des alliierten Gegenangriffs erneut zerstört.Die Brücke war vermint worden von der dritten australischen Tunnelbaugesellschaft (.(Februar 1918)
