Amongst the guests werethe King of Hanover, Prince Alexander of Orange,&c. During the following week the Queen and PrinceAlbert go to Stowe, and the birthday of the latteron August 26 is the signal for the usual homelyrejoicings at Windsor. A little later the Queenstarted with Prince Albert on a marine excursionto the beautiful west coast for which she alwaysentertained an unfeigned admiration. Her Majestydid not land either at Weymouth or Portland, butthe Mayor of Weymouth * paid his dutiable respectsto the Queen on board the royal yacht.
