Description
English: The church of St Michael & All Angels - stained glass St Michaels and All Angels > 844322 is a medieval building encased in a 19th century structure, designed by the then rector, the Rev Whitwell Elwin > 755717. Built from knapped flint and stone, the church has two west towers > 844326 and a variety of pinnacles, a very elaborate priest door - 844328 - a hammerbeam nave roof, and stained glass windows depicting angels (detail seen here), designed by Cox, Sons & Buckley (1880-1900).
