The county of Cork borders upon the Atlantic between Kenmare River andYoughal Bay, and is traversed lengthwise by a succession of parallel hill ranges,separated by the valleys of the Brandon, Lee, and Blackwater. Alliliies, on Kenmare River, is remarkable only on account of its cojpper mine.
