English: The eastern wall of Llangadwaladr Church The middle window is that of the chancel. The two chapels on either side of the chancel are (furthest away) the family chapel of the Meyricks of Bodorgan Hall SH3867 and (nearest the camera) the family chapel of the Owens of Bodowen SH3866. The Meyrick chapel dates from the 1640s, that of their sworn enemies, the Owens, dates from 1661. Each contain memorials to the members of its respective family. The tall Celtic Cross, in the cemetery (right), is a Meyrick memorial. |
