DescriptionThe established range of Lymantria dispar for US counties coloured by the year of quarantine - Ddi13799-fig-0001-m.jpg |
English: The established range of Lymantria dispar for US counties coloured by the year of quarantine. A quarantine is a regulatory mechanism where the county is considered generally infested in an effort to limit movement of non-native species to uninfested areas (data provided by the US Code of Federal Regulations, Title 7, Chapter III, Section 301.45, digitized by the US Forest Service). The black lines indicate the Slow the Spread program's year 2018 projected Action Area. The Action Area is the area with the most extensive monitoring using pheromone-baited traps and where most management treatments are conducted. |
