| Description |
English: The farmer's runabout I don't know a lot about tractors but I would say that this one had seen a few summers. The farmer was very friendly, stopping for a chat. Orcadians are traditionally hospitable, and I have found the farmers to be no exception. They seem to be pleased at people taking an interest in the land. This farmer spent some time explaining the ancient traditions by which lower-lying farms were allocated peat-cutting rights in the hills. |
