English: The industrial Coventry Canal At the time of this photograph, the scenery along the five-mile Coventry Arm between Hawkesbury Junction and the dead end at Bishop Street Basin was almost uniformly industrial, which is probably why not many pleasure boats made the trip at that time. Apparently most of the industry has now gone, but the sharp bends on this canal still require care. |
