Summary edit

Description
English: The new regime,
Data from Geograph:
  • Description: This is one of the batch of 110 Leyland Panther buses ordered by the newly-formed Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive, delivered in 1968/9. They marked a significant change for the area, as the former Liverpool Corporation Transport undertaking had relied almost exclusively on double-deck vehicles.

It is pictured at the foot of Water Street, entering the then newly-built (and since demolished) Pier Head Bus Station. Note the black state of the Liver Building on the left - this was well before it was cleaned to its current state of greyness.

  • ICBM: 53.405175275071, -2.9963294663649
  • Location: (about 2 km from) near to Seacombe, Wirral, Great Britain.
