| Description |
English: The permanent way at Dunmurry station See J5077 : The Bangor to Newtownards road near Conlig. If the roads budget had been “handbagged” then the railways suffered an even worse fate. This piece of track, (on the down line) at Dunmurry, on the Belfast – Dublin line, was not untypical. It was to be another twelve years J2969 : Dunmurry station (1998) before it was re-built. The contract included the provision of drains. This effect is known as a “wet spot”. |
