The general principles of feeding, on which I once raised200 chicks out of 201 hatched, and again 199 out of 207, havealready been given. As a first food for little creatures of everykind, I find nothing else equals bread and milk. Rolled oatmeal,cottage cheese, cut bone, custard and onion tops furnish variety.My favorite pudding, one-third each of shorts, corn meal, andbran or ground oats, is introduced by degrees.
