ssing over the line at stations ; 37were injured by the closing of carriage doors; i was killedand 7 were injured by falling out of carriages during thetraveling of trains; and 13 were killed and 32 injuredfrom other causes. There were 26 persons killed and 14injured whilst passing over railways at level-crossings, 12being killed and 11 injured at public level-crossings, 9killed and 3 injured at occupation crossings, and 5 killedat foot crossings. There were 79 persons killed and 46injured when trespassing on the railways; 32 personscommitted suicide on railways ; and of other persons notspecifically classed, but mostly private people havingbusiness on the companies premises, 15 were killed and38 injured. III. ACCIDENTS TO EMPLOYES.
