The parables, public instruction and events recordedin these sections are all ascribed to his ministry beyond Jordan, and areusually referred to as his Peraean ministry. This hedoes three different times during the week which is illustrated by threeloops that could not all be made to approach Bethany closely, but whichwill serve to fix the events in their order. § 155.
