Summary edit

Description
English: The road to nowhere and St Matthews Church St Matthews Church is now redundant, but so is this spur road off the top of the Mold Junction railway bridge. When the bridge was built this spur ran down to ground level and provided road access to what I think was the (rail) wagon repair works. Change of use for the wagon works required the building of a modern road, on the other side of St Matthews, to provide access for the modern, long articulated lorries. The new road rendered this old spur redundant and it was mostly demolished some years ago.
