English: The source of the Emperor Stream At this point the water in Wadshelf Brook is diverted to run along the aqueduct to Chatsworth Park. A small weir allows for an overspill into the old watercourse and a sluice gate can be seen which used to control the flow of water into the Emperor Stream. The higher reaches of this stream are now overgrown and the sluice gate is no longer used. |
