Summary edit

Description
English: The three families finally arrived at the Rotorhu [Rotoehu] forestry camp where the husbands will work. The local people arranged a special welcome including a Santa Claus whom the Tokelauans had never seen. Much was new to them and excitement grew when they moved into their new homes and were able to use running water and the other modern amenities. Some of the single Tokelauan boys who work at the Waipa State Mills, Rotorua, were on hand to welcome them and help them in their new homes. The woman is Mrs. Tepuka Tuilave.
