The temperature scale is in degrees Fahrenheit. Fountain Geyser is the largest regularly-erupting feature in the Fountain Group of Yellowstone's Lower Geyser Basin. It erupts from a large, irregularly-quadrilateral basin that is about 6 x 12 meters in size. Eruptions last about 30 minutes and occur every 4.5 to 6 hours. Eruption spouting consists of low to high bursting in various directions. |
