  • Expansion and contraction of entropies in transit, and not "energy" transfer, is responsible for forces. Furthermore, unlike in an energy model for forces, not all entropy need be "caught" by the substance on which "push" work is done, but rather, entropy must simply demand less volume when passing through. Thus, forces can be treated as being the sole consequence of the pressure-volume work of entropy particles, rather than momentum transfers of energy particles. Energy then is simply the measurement of the effect of such forces over distance.
